One last pull on the seat belt..... and a last blip of the engine....then it's time to wait for the countdown, at the start of one of the morning runs.
Soloing - it's not just for blokes ! Cherie Carter took the Ladies Award, driving the Peugeot 306 GTi-6, which she and husband Matt, who was
Clerk of the Course at this event, drive both in Solos and Sprints. Claire Neate was sharing the blue Mazda MX5 with its owner, Matthew Hens.
Georgina Kuhl, who seems to use a different car for each event, was in action with this BMW M3 convertible, and Georgina
Garside entered her newly acquired Renault Clio 197, which brother in law Adam also drove, to finish fourth out of twelve
entries in the strongly contested Class D.
BMW enthusiast Ashley Evans, another member with a selection of cars, brought this nice M3 coupe, while George Wall was showing increasing
determination in his Mazda 323.
