FDMC Autumn PCT, November 2008, Page 2 |

Ted Holloway and Steve Thompson, from Sevenoaks MC, shared the Fiesta Diesel (there's a theory that the extra weight of the diesel engine helps with traction - not sure how well it's working here), while John and James York from Woolbridge MC took their yellow Midget to first in Class C2.

Jay Grossmith, another Sevenoaks member, was at the wheel of the Metro GTi, which was formerly owned by his grandmother! The Poplar trials special, an interesting mixture of the old and the new, was crewed by Falcon MC's David Jackson and Paul Hirons.

It was a first outing for the Austin 7 based AJH, fresh from the workshop of serial car builder Alan Hockham, with Jeff Hodge passengering; and a first visit to Hungry Hill for Aleksander Dubas from Wessex MC, with his Peugeot 106.

Roger Dudley, often seen at our Autumn Antics slalom with a Mini or a Scamp, took second in Class C4 with his Marlin, with Robert Dudley in the left hand seat, while Peter Kleyn was driving his Sunbeam Alpine Series 4, which is used mostly for historic road rallying.

And when you get to the top ...... the marshal signs your score card. Steve Thompson finds the perfect stopping place, to get his clean sheet recorded.
