Matt's motorsport started in his native Australia, including three seasons of motorbike racing, in the 125 GP class. Matt and his family subsequently relocated to the UK, in order to join FDMC (or perhaps not), and started competing in a Peugeot 306 GTi-6.

Matt and the 306 became strong contenders in sprints and Solo's, after which the Peugeot gave way to a modified Honda S2000. With further development by Matt, the Honda gets taken sprinting and hillclimbing at many locations in the UK, bringing home a healthy crop of awards, and Championship results. Starting in 2009, Matt has also taken on the role of our Treasurer.
