Ian, at the last count, has owned and enjoyed some 60 different road cars, showing a commendable enthusiasm for the internal combustion principle. Having first supposed that motorsport might be too expensive, he eventually picked up the Sylva Leader, seen in this picture, for an affordable £1200, to start sprinting with FDMC.

The Sylva has now been replaced by a Mazda MX-5, which will be used in Sprints and Solos.
