FDMC Dimanche Sprint, April 2006, Page 2
Gwyn Jones put this borrowed Seat Leon Cupra into first place, in Class 3.
Karl Stevens repeated his class win of last year, with his highly developed Pinto engined Escort,
while new FDMC member Andrew Smith and his rare Elan coupe were well on the pace, in the same class.
Simon May set a 'personal best' time for Rushmoor in his R5 GT Turbo, breaking into the 57 second bracket,
to win Class 2.
Two more of the award winners, among the MGCC entries: David Butler won class 5 with his MGB GT,
and Derek Porter showed how diesels can compete, taking third in class 2 with his ZS saloon.
Waiting to go: sports cars queue up for the startline, during the morning's practice runs.
FDMC's Sprinting season continues with the Abingdon CARnival weekend, on June 10/11th,
jointly organised with Sutton & Cheam MC.
