Karl Stevens repeated his class win of last year, with his highly developed Pinto engined Escort, while new FDMC member Andrew Smith and his rare Elan coupe were well on the pace, in the same class.

Simon May set a 'personal best' time for Rushmoor in his R5 GT Turbo, breaking into the 57 second bracket, to win Class 2.

Two more of the award winners, among the MGCC entries: David Butler won class 5 with his MGB GT, and Derek Porter showed how diesels can compete, taking third in class 2 with his ZS saloon.
