Borrowed cars often go faster; Dave Dockree shared Russell Roberts's 205 GTi 1.9 to finish 3rd in class... ahead of the owner... while Ian McDougall Bell was the highest placed MG Car Club entrant, taking 2nd in class with his ZR.

Three modern classics? Rob Choules' Toyota MR2, Chris Hopkins's freshly restored Lancia Fulvia coupe, and Jimmy Pope's historic rally prepared Escort RS2000.

Westfields are currently popular with sprint competitors; plenty to choose from here, with Robert Farley's SCC Stylus the exception.

FDMC's Sprinting season continues with the Abingdon CARnival weekend, on June 11/12th, jointly organised with Sutton & Cheam MC.
