This year's Dimanche Sprint was the first use of Rushmoor Arena, Aldershot, as a sprint course. Ian Gaskell, who won last year's event at Eelmoor, took Fastest Time of Day again with his Westfield SEiw, now featuring aerodynamic mods.

Mark Skeats was second overall in his Pinto engined Mk 1 Escort, and Jon Payne took a class place with this Subaru Legacy.

Ex kart racer David Skeggs made a strong debut in sprinting, with a class win and 9th overall in his Lotus Elise.

Dan Roberts, now running his AX GT in modified spec, took a class win, and new FDMC members Martyn and Edward Crowe were first and second in class in their standard Metro GTi.
