Hailing originally from New Zealand, Brian entered his first FDMC events with a 205 GTi, but, thanks to previous involvement with rotary engined Mazdas, Dr Wankel's invention is closest to his heart. So it wasn't long before the Peugeot was replaced by an RX7, and strangely - shaped engine parts started to be seen and discussed at Club Nights.
During the recent seasons of sprinting in the ACSMC's area, Brian and the increasingly developed Mazda have been one of the leading contenders in their class, and for 2008, he has also taken on the Competition Secretary's role for FDMC.
