This year's Spring Solo involved 36 competitors from FDMC, the CSMA, and the MG Car Club, and featured a Club Team award, based on the three drivers from each club with the lowest total time. The winning FDMC team included Warren Till, seen here in his Westfield, who also took the best individual award.
The second placed CSMA team included Simon Harris, who came third overall and second in class in his Golf, and in the third placed MG team, Tom Withers shared this Midget with father Richard. (The cones lying down in these pictures haven't been knocked over; they're there to indicate the route).
Simon May took first in class and second overall, following lunchtime engine maintenance to his Renault 5.
Ian Perry's deceptively quick style took the 1300 Suzuki to a class win, and 6th overall, while Michael Duncan finished second in class, with his Alfa 156.
Showing the variety of cars in which you can enjoy Solo-ing, James Mumford drove his MG M type, and Adam McQueen his turbocharged Honda CRX.
Martin Yates was another member of the winning FDMC team in his RX7 turbo, also taking fourth overall.
